Project Overview
The train load-out facility formed part of the siteβs material handling infrastructure. The project involved the safe dismantling and removal of the load-out bin, supporting steelwork and associated structures.
Detailed planning, lift studies and removal sequencing were undertaken to ensure the works were completed safely within a live industrial environment.
Key Features
- Engineered lift studies
- Structural sequencing
- Dual crane lifts
- Work pack preparation
- Risk management and controls
- Active industrial environment

Removal Methodology
Detailed site assessment and lift studies
Site inspections, 3D modelling and lift studies were completed to determine the safest removal methodology.
Sequenced dismantling
Top-down removal of the load-out bin and associated steelwork using staged dismantling techniques.
Controlled crane operations
Dual crane lifts were used to safely remove large structural sections within constrained areas.
Site clean-up and load out
